Reversing Disease

We will continue to help one person at a time reverse chronic disease with plant-based nutrition.

The problem

Chronic diseases continue to be leading causes of death and disability worldwide

Traditional medical approaches often focus on managing symptoms through medication and procedures, which, while necessary, may not address the root causes of these diseases. Emerging evidence suggests that dietary and lifestyle changes can play a pivotal role in both preventing and reversing chronic illnesses. These illnesses not only diminish quality of life but also place a significant burden on healthcare systems and economies.

In the United States alone, six out of ten adults live with at least one chronic condition, and four in ten have two or more.

MEET DOUG AND SHARI

A man's life saved through plant-based nutrition.

Shari embarked on this plant based journey after her husband Doug had a widowmaker heart attack at age 49 in 2008. She sought out as much information as possible on the effects of a plant-based diet. Shari earned her certificate with eCornell in Plant Based Nutrition in 2014 and became a certified CHIP (Complete Health Improvement Program) facilitator in 2017. Shari continues to learn as much as she can about the effect whole plant foods can have on health. Doug, a teacher and instructional developer was once a professional baker and has completed the Rouxbe Plant Based Professional Culinary Program.
