Food for Life
is an education and cooking program developed by the Physician’s Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM). This award-winning program, which is designed by physicians, nurses, and dietitians, teaches healthful, plant-based eating based on the latest scientific research.
Simply put, Food for Life classes can help you reduce the risk of various chronic diseases.

All Food for Life classes are taught by Licensed Instructors.

FAQ’s:
Why do I need to provide a waiver acknowledgement?
Although the materials and videos are developed by registered dietitians and a medical doctor, the information presented in the classes in not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice. Your waiver acknowledgement assures your understanding of that disclaimer (as well as other details about allergens and photography rights, which may or may not apply to online classes).
Will I receive the recipes?
Of course! A link will be provided during the class. You’ll also receive a follow-up email with the recipe and handout links.
How long will the class last?
Much depends on the recipe selections and the length of Dr. Neal Barnard’s educational video. The goal is to last only an hour, but there are times when the class may run over a bit.
Can I cook along with the class?
No, unfortunately, because the recipes are provided during the class (not beforehand); plus, many of the ingredients used in the class have been pre-chopped or pre-cooked to save time (such as with noodles). You’ll be able to comfortably sit back, watch, take notes, and enjoy the class!
