Ximena Díaz Velázquez
Ximena Diaz Velazquez is the Director of Community Operations at Plant Based Support, where she oversees the vital infrastructure of the community ecosystem. With a background in project management and a specialized focus on operational efficiency, Ximena ensures that the systems, platforms, and internal workflows are optimized to provide members with a seamless and stable environment for growth.
Ximena’s plant-based journey began at age 17, a pivotal moment sparked by a firsthand look at animal farming that ignited a lifelong commitment to compassion. This passion eventually led her to become fully vegan in 2020. Professionally, her path has been defined by her versatility as a bilingual educator and project manager. Prior to joining Plant Based Support, she spent over two years working for Real Men Eat Plants, where she coordinated multi-functional teams, managed CRM integrations, and led the production of prominent plant-based podcasts and virtual events.
Having lived and worked in Argentina, Sweden, and Spain, Ximena brings a unique global perspective and keen cultural awareness to her leadership style. She views her role through two lenses: as an operational architect who ensures the machine runs perfectly, and as an empathetic educator dedicated to making every member feel safe, heard, and supported.
Beyond the operations, Ximena stays grounded through pre-Columbian pottery, kayaking, and hiking. Whether she is in the gym, practicing meditation, or biking, she remains dedicated to a lifestyle of sustainability and continuous learning.
