Many of us long for healing and transformation in our lives - to thrive in mind, body, and spirit. We desire vibrant health and vitality that enables us to do the activities that give life meaning. Scientific studies show that a plant-based (vegan) diet can help to promote physical health, and even reverse many common chronic diseases. But what about the impact on our emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being?
As a psychologist and vegan, Dr. Crawford has been fascinated by that very question. Contrary to the common perception of veganism as restrictive or depriving, her book research finds that many vegans describe greater expansiveness in their food choices, broadening in their perspectives, and deeper peace and fulfillment. In this presentation, she shares seven core transformations uncovered through her research, and how these contribute to a richer, more meaningful life. Discover the connection between food and mood - and the surprising power of aligning with your values.
