Heart Disease in Women

A critical conversation women deserve to have sooner

Heart disease in women is too often overlooked until it becomes impossible to ignore.

Many women are taught to watch for dramatic warning signs, yet heart disease does not always present that way.

Symptoms can be subtle.
Risk can build quietly.
Concerns are sometimes minimized, misunderstood, or dismissed altogether.

This session was created to change that.

Join us for an important live discussion focused specifically on how heart disease presents in women, why it is so often under-recognized, and what evidence-based lifestyle strategies can help support prevention, early improvement, and long-term health.

This is a conversation rooted in clarity, credibility, and care.

Why this session matters

Women deserve better than vague advice, rushed explanations, and fragmented information.

This event is designed to help participants better understand:

how heart disease may show up differently in women

why women’s risk is often underestimated

what early warning signs should not be ignored

how everyday lifestyle patterns influence long-term heart health

what practical, sustainable changes may help support prevention and early disease improvement

The goal is not to create fear. The goal is to replace uncertainty with understanding.

Because when women are informed earlier, they are in a stronger position to ask better questions, make more confident decisions, and take meaningful action.

What you’ll gain from this session

By attending, you’ll walk away with:

a clearer picture of women’s heart health risks

deeper understanding of how symptoms and progression can differ in women

practical lifestyle insights you can apply or explore further

guidance from a physician who specializes in prevention-focused care for women

the opportunity to ask questions during a live Q&A

This session is especially relevant for women who are:

concerned about heart health, blood pressure, or cholesterol

navigating menopause or other hormonal shifts

managing metabolic changes such as weight gain, prediabetes, or hypertension

living with a family history of cardiovascular disease

looking for credible, non-sensational guidance they can trust

Meet the speaker: Dr. Patrice High

We are honored to welcome Dr. Patrice High, founder and CEO of NuEmpowerment Health.

Dr. High is a highly experienced physician with more than 20 years in primary care and is board-certified in both Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine. Her work is centered on helping women prevent, improve, and often reverse chronic conditions through evidence-based lifestyle strategies.

She is known for combining medical credibility with practical guidance that women can actually use in daily life.

Dr. High’s perspective is especially powerful because her work is not limited to theory. She has dedicated her career to helping women reclaim their health in ways that are realistic, sustainable, and deeply empowering. She also brings a strong track record as a public speaker, with appearances for organizations such as the American Cancer Society Action Network, the Diabetes Intervention Program, and Veg Fests across the country.

What makes this session especially meaningful is that Dr. High speaks to women with both expertise and humanity. She understands the stakes, the barriers, and the urgency of helping women feel informed before health issues progress further.

What makes this event different

There is no shortage of health information online. There is a shortage of trustworthy, women-centered conversations that are both medically grounded and genuinely useful.

This event is different because it brings together:

a topic that urgently deserves more attention

a physician whose work is centered on women’s health and chronic disease prevention

a community committed to evidence-based education and real-world support

At Plant Based Support, we believe people need more than information alone. They need guidance they can understand, support they can return to, and a space where health conversations are approached with both seriousness and compassion.

That is why we are hosting this event.
