A Family Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified in Lifestyle Medicine, Gaia brings both compassion and science to his work as a lifelong community activist. He led the Ann Arbor Plant Based Support potluck support group and co-founded Washtenaw Optimal Wellness, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping communities thrive through longevity and health. Over the years, he has also partnered with many organizations working to confront climate change and protect our planet’s future.
For more than 40 years, Gaia has been involved with a cooperative vegetarian community, embodying the very principles of compassion, sustainability, and shared purpose that guide his life and work.
